Mission Statement from 2016:

We, the fellowship of Hedon Methodist Church are committed to:

  • pray together, purposely seeking and expecting guidance and support as we seek to love and serve God and neighbour.
  • love and encourage each other in the Christian faith.
  • reach out into the community to proclaim the love of Jesus Christ through our loving, caring, sharing and witness.

We consider our core objectives to be:

  • widen our outreach through witness, care and involvement in the community.

To attain these objectives we will:

  • Wherever possible, work and witness with those of other Christian traditions.
  • Identify community needs and encourage involvement in community activities and issues.

Our plans will therefore include:

Seeking to develop the use of our Church buildings as a place of worship, a community resource and an educational facility.

Worship and Church activities

Sunday worship each week  is at 10:30am

Every 4th Sunday is Café Church where we share together in study, conversation and worship, using contemporary study materials utilising video and recorded music.

Sunday Club meets during morning worship and children’s activities are made available during Café Church. Parents and guardians are welcome to join us for a variety of crafts and games and discussion in Sunday Club.

Messy Church is currently held on a seasonal basis about once/quarter but may increase in frequency.

See the national Messy Church website for their ethos and history.
